BALTIMORE CITY COLLEGE: Macbeth by the Black Classical Acting

0Comments

On October 26, 27, and 28, all students in the IB English Higher-Level courses in both senior and Junior level were invited to see a production of Macbeth by the Black Classical Acting company at the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. Thanks to the support of the City College Annual Fund, our English teachers and the rest of our faculty and administration, nearly 600 students were able to watch an all-Black production of the Scottish play, which all seniors read last year and all Juniors are in the midst of reading. Afterwards, the dynamic acting ensemble conducted a talk-back with the students, culminating in the joyful days of learning and theater!
