The BCCC Financial Aid Office has scheduled “FAFSA Nights” in an effort to answer financial aid questions and help current and incoming students file Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms.

This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Financial Aid Office (Room 024). Throughout the program, BCCC Financial Aid Specialist will be providing assistance to students wanting to apply for federal financial aid for the 22-23 and 2023-2024 academic years.

In order to complete a FAFSA, students must know their social security number (or Alien Registration Number for non-U.S. citizens) and bring their 2020 federal income tax return for 22-23 FAFSA and 2021 federal income tax return for 23-24 FAFSA, W-2 and other records of untaxed income with them.

If applicable, students must also bring bank statements and records of investments. Dependent students will need to bring most of the required FAFSA information for their parents, too.

Before arriving at a “FAFSA Night” program, students must create a Federal Student Aid ID at www.FSAID.ed.gov. The ID gives students access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as a legal signature.
