We are excited to announce that City Schools Teacher of the Year, Berol Dewdney, is now Maryland’s Teacher of the Year! Ms. Dewdney was one of seven finalists from around the state and will now move on to represent Maryland in the National Teacher of the Year program.

The Maryland Teacher of the Year program recognizes outstanding elementary, middle and high school teachers who are excellent instructors and education leaders in their schools and communities.
