The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Baltimore rose by $6,700 while total sales decreased by 16.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 2,457 homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,000 – a 6.2% increase over the $108,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,957 homes sold in Baltimore in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for 2018 was $2,487. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,463. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
