Boston University secured a 78–69 victory over Loyola University Maryland in a men’s basketball game held at Case Gymnasium on Saturday. The Terriers built on their four-point halftime lead by scoring the first seven points of the second half, which helped them maintain control throughout the remainder of the game.

Loyola’s Jacob Theodosiou was the game’s top scorer, finishing with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including three shots from beyond the arc. He also contributed five rebounds. Teammate Jordan Stiemke added 15 points, and Emmett Adair recorded nine points along with five rebounds for the Greyhounds.

For Boston University, Ben Defty led his team with 18 points and nine rebounds. Chance Gladden contributed 15 points and seven assists, while Sam Hughes scored 14 points. Michael McNair made an impact early in the game for Boston University by scoring 12 of his total 15 points in the opening eight minutes and finished with a double-double after grabbing 12 rebounds.

Loyola is set to continue its road schedule with a matchup against Lafayette College on Wednesday, February 11.
