On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Susquehanna Riverhawks, featuring former Mount St. Joseph High School standout Chris Degroote, defeated the Washington & Jefferson Presidents 38-32 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The matchup was held at Douglas Arthur Stadium at noon and marked the first tournament meeting between the Susquehanna Riverhawks and the Washington & Jefferson Presidents.

Susquehanna will play their next game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 12 p.m. at TowneBank Stadium.
