About 63.9 percent of the 2,120 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Baltimore conferred 581 doctor’s degrees and 416 bachelor’s degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master’s degree in Social Work. Data shows the school gave out 428 master’s degrees in Social Work, followed by 378 bachelor’s degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 187 doctor’s degrees in Law.

The university enrolled 6,482 students for 2016-17, including 905 in undergraduate programs and 5,577 in graduate programs.
