Loyola golf finishes ninth at Wildcat Spring Invitational in New Jersey

Loyola University Maryland’s men’s golf team finished ninth at the Wildcat Spring Invitational, which concluded on April 7 at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey.

The tournament was a 54-hole event. Lorenzo Sanz, competing as an individual, led Loyola in the final round with a score of 1-over-par 72. This performance allowed him to move up 26 spots on the leaderboard and finish tied for 20th place overall.

Other notable performances included Diego Neira tying for 26th place. Liam Moloney and Jackson Roman both tied for 40th, while Jack Geyer finished tied for 47th and Eli Spaulding tied for 49th.

The Greyhounds will conclude their regular season at the University of Virginia’s Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, scheduled for April 13-14 at Birdwood Golf Course.
