Loyola University Maryland finished third at the 2026 Patriot League Championships, according to an April 26 announcement. The event was hosted by Army West Point, and Loyola posted the second-best team round on Sunday.

The tournament outcome is significant for Loyola’s men’s golf program as it highlights strong individual performances despite not securing the top spot. Navy won the championship with a final round score of 3-under 277, while Loyola overtook Army West Point with a final round of 4-over 284.

Eli Spaulding led the Greyhounds with a standout performance, shooting a 1-under 69 in the last round to secure fifth place overall at six under par for three rounds. Liam Moloney also made the Patriot League All-Tournament Team, finishing one stroke behind Spaulding in sixth place with a total score of one over par across three rounds. Diego Neira completed his tournament tied for seventh after carding a three-over-par final round and finishing eight over par overall.

Other notable results included Jackson Roman tying for eleventh individually after shooting two over par in his final round, Jack Geyer tying for twenty-second four shots behind Roman, and Gustavo Rangel ending tied for twenty-sixth at sixteen over par.

The Greyhounds’ performance demonstrates depth across their roster as several players finished among the top competitors in this year’s championship.
