On Wednesday, March 19, former Mount Saint Joseph High School standout Noah Jones’ current collegiate team the American Eagles lost 83-72 against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in UD Arena, this was the first game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers during the championship.
Noah Jones’ hometown is Manchester and game position is forward.
These ex-City of Baltimore area high school athletes will be competing in the week starting Monday, April 27.
Girls’ flag football has been approved as Maryland’s newest varsity championship sport starting next school year. The MPSSAA Board unanimously voted for full sanctioning after rapid growth fueled by partnerships with local schools and professional teams.
Loyola University Maryland rowing teams swept all five races at the Gifford Pinchot Regatta on April 25. Both men’s and women’s crews secured close wins over Carnegie Mellon and Binghamton competitors. The victories demonstrate strong performances across several categories.
