Mayor Brandon M. Scott released the following statement in response to the Board of Inquiry (BOI) report released today in the wake of the fatal Jan. 24 fire in the 200 block of S. Stricker Street that claimed the lives of three Baltimore City Fire Department firefighters and seriously injured another.
Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Alicia Wilson, Vice President of Economic Development and Community Partnerships with Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System, kicked off Small Business Saturday in Baltimore City by visiting fifteen local businesses during six different stops across the city.
Mayor Brandon M. Scott was joined by Baltimore City Department of Transportation Director Steve Sharkey along with officials from the Baltimore City Departments of Public Works, Recreation and Parks, General Services, Fire, Health, Housing and Community Development, the Office of Emergency Management, the Office of Homelessness and the Baltimore Police Department to announce that the City of Baltimore is fully prepared for the upcoming 2022-2023 snow season.
