American Visionary Art Museum issued the following announcement on July 3.
This is a place where it feels like Black History Month every day, and I can’t wait to come back.
Baltimore is a place that "treats black history like just, well, history, and I can’t wait to come back." The New York Times recently visited our hometown and birthplace to Justice Thurgood Marshall (who would have been 110). Writer Jada Yuan calls us not to be missed, along with The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, Lou Fields, The Land of Kush, Lexington Market, Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine, Washington Monument, Club Charles, Clavel, Parts & Labor, and G&M Restaurant with suggestions of places to stay Sagamore Pendry Baltimore, Revival, a Joie de Vivre Hotel, and The Ivy Hotel. https://www.nytimes.com/…/baltimore-african-american-cultur…
