Towson (Baltimore city County) home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Towson in Baltimore city County fell by $26,100 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,625 - a 9.9% decrease over the $263,725 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Towson in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Towson for 2018 was $2,728. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,728, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
