ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY BUREAU OF HIGHWAYS: Montana resident visiting Anne Arundel County positive for COVID-19, officials say

Anne Arundel County Bureau of Highways issued the following announcement on March 12.

Watch the full press conference yesterday with County Executive Steuart Pittman, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management, Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), and Anne Arundel County Department of Aging & Disabilities on a positive case of #COVIDー19 in Anne Arundel County.

The individual is in their 70s and is currently hospitalized. This case is related to domestic travel, they did not contract the virus in our county.

County Executive Steuart Pittman's message to staff and the general public of Anne Arundel County, "We should remember that the work that we do and the inconveniences we will endure are not for ourselves, but for our neighbors. We are all in this together, and this is our opportunity to serve, to give, and to care for one another. So let's do this right."
