The third quarter of 2020: Baltimore experienced a 10.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Baltimore fell by $11,500 while total sales decreased by 36.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 2,085 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 10.8% decrease over the $106,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 3,262 homes sold in Baltimore in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,490, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
