Graduates earn 755 degrees, certificates from Notre Dame of Maryland University

About 42.2 percent of the 755 degrees and certificates handed out by the Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore conferred 215 bachelor's degrees and 57 doctor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 208 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 166 master's degrees in Education, General and 57 doctor's degrees in Pharmacy.

The university enrolled 2,532 students for 2016-17, including 874 in undergraduate programs and 1,658 in graduate programs.
