About 30.6 percent of the 1,736 degrees and certificates handed out by the Loyola University Maryland in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore conferred 385 bachelor's degrees and 147 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 311 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 122 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 105 bachelor's degrees in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.
The university enrolled 6,084 students for 2016-17, including 4,104 in undergraduate programs and 1,980 in graduate programs.
