Maryland residents paid $8,824 to attend the four-year public institution this year $228 more than the $8,596 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 134.6 percent more than residents this year, or $20,704. Their price tag grew 2.3 percent from $20,242 in 2016-17.
About 80 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Maryland residents. And about 3 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 116 students received grants or scholarships totaling $812,791 and 67 students took out student loans totaling more than $371,309.
Including all undergraduates, 2,579 students used grants or scholarships totaling $11.74 million. Another 1,827 took out $13.71 million in federal student loans.
