75 percent of applicants to Loyola University Maryland were admitted for fall 2017

At Loyola University Maryland, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore enrolled 5,783 students in fall 2017, including 3,924 in undergraduate and 1,859 in graduate programs, data shows. 1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

15 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maryland, and 84 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (10 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 11,600 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 12 percent enrolled.
