Baltimore Highlands Elementary School issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
Half-day program offers sample of middle school, high school
What: Students in Grades 6 and 9 for the 2018-2019 school year are invited to participate in Early Entry Day at their assigned schools. The half-day event is designed to ease the transition to middle and high school. Students will be able to visit their lockers, tour the school, and meet teachers and school counselors. Transportation will be provided for those students who take buses to school. A complimentary lunch will be served.
When: Thursday, August 30 (hours vary by school)
Where: All BCPS middle and high schools
