Meet Judy Neff from Checkerspot Brewing Company, one of the five brewers participating in Baltimore Beer Night! “Our name is inspired by the Baltimore Checkerspot, which is the Maryland state butterfly; it embodies the relationship we have with nature and an understanding, for us, that ingredients are the most important thing. Without good ingredients that you get from good farms, there is no beer. We try to get as many local ingredients as we can. We’re looking forward to partnering up during the event—especially with people right here in our neighborhood—and letting people know about us, that we’re here, and that we’re open,” she says.
