Student attendance at New Hope Academy was 52.1 percent in 2016-17

Student attendance at New Hope Academy during the 2016-2017 school year was 52.1 percent, worse than the state average of 93.6 percent, according to a Baltimore City Wire analysis of the latest Maryland schools report card.

The attendance rate is the percentage of students in school for at least half of the average school day, according to the Maryland State Department of Education.

Overall 80 students were enrolled at New Hope Academy during the 2016-2017 school year.
