Report: 2.5% of Loyola University Maryland students repaying loans are in default

Out of 1,149 Loyola University Maryland students repaying loans in 2015, 29 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year private school in Baltimore a default rate of 2.5 percent for that year – 0.5 percentage points higher than in 2014 and 1.8 points higher than in 2013.

Loyola University Maryland had 6 more students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 20 more than in 2013.
