Report: 8.2% of University of Baltimore students repaying loans are in default

Out of 1,918 University of Baltimore students repaying loans in 2015, 158 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year public school in Baltimore a default rate of 8.2 percent for that year – 1.3 percentage points higher than in 2014 and 2.4 points higher than in 2013.

University of Baltimore had 27 more students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 41 more than in 2013.
