Schoolchildren 1000x667

Kennedy Krieger Institute issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.

Researchers are asking if these behaviors can be cultivated in a safe, controlled, but virtual environment? The Office of Special Education and Programs (OSEP) within the U.S. Department of Education has invested $2.5 million toward a new #virtualreality program that will allow a user to explore different situations and interact with computer-driven avatars. This is an exciting use of #VR to nurture social skills in students with disabilities! Read more about it here: https://variety.com/…/fe…/voiss-interview-vr-hmd-1203086576/
