On MLK Day, we host a free celebration in honor of the life and dreams of one of the greatest visionaries in America's history. Join us for special performances by DewMore Baltimore, Chin-Yer Wright, Kondwani Fidel,Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, and Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company. Plus enjoy birthday cake, a hands-on art workshop, and more at this FREE, fun-filled day! See our latest exhibition "PARENTING: An Art without a Manual" with FREE admission all day, 10am–6pm. 2pm-3:30pm Poetry slam and open mic with featured performers DewMore Baltimore, Chin-Yer Wright, and Kondwani Fidel
3pm-4pm Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company performance

- Free museum admission, activities, and cake
- MLK Day Film playing (on loop) in Main Building, 2nd floor, Theater
- Pick up a free copy of the Visionary Artists of Color Guide, Main Building, front desk
- Docents in the galleries. (Note: We're not able to offer formal tours, but our friendly docents are around to answer your questions!
