It’s Donate Life Month, and UMMC’s Donate Life Flag-Raising ceremony yesterday celebrated those who have given the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. We joined with The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland to share the stories of family members who decided to donate a loved one’s organs, and heard from several organ recipients who are alive, thanks to organ transplants.
