ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY: Anne Arundel County September 11th Memorial and Wreath Laying to be held September 11

Anne Arundel County issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.

Members of the community are invited to join County Executive Steuart Pittman, Fire Chief Trisha Wolford, and Police Deputy Chief William Lowry to commemorate the 18th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

The ceremony will be held at Anne Arundel County's September 11th Memorial at Police Headquarters on Veterans Highway on Wednesday.

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman, along with Fire Chief Trisha Wolford and Police Deputy Chief William Lowry will commemorate the 18th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks with county citizens and members of the fire and police departments Wednesday morning. After a brief ceremony, including a moment of silence, County Executive Pittman, Chief Wolford, and Deputy Chief Lowry will place a wreath at the county’s September 11th Memorial.
