ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY: State of Maryland Judiciary System Seminar to be held February 24

Anne Arundel County recently issued the following announcement.

Learn about the Maryland Court System. The discussion will include: an overview of the different levels of courts and the types of cases each one handles; what judges do and how they are selected; and what the clerk’s office is and what it does. Also discussed will be various resources the judiciary makes available to the public to help with many types of common cases, such as landlord/tenant issues, guardianship, small claims, and many others. Presented by Scott Poyer, Clerk of the Circuit Court and a Circuit Court Judge. They will be happy to entertain questions about the judiciary process as well. No registration is needed to attend.
