Graduates earn 1,704 degrees, certificates from Loyola University Maryland

About 31.9 percent of the 1,704 degrees and certificates handed out by Loyola University Maryland in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore conferred 380 bachelor's degrees and 164 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 295 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 140 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 116 master's degrees in montessori teacher education.

The university enrolled 5,645 students for 2017-18, including 3,879 in undergraduate programs and 1,766 in graduate programs.
