88 percent of applicants to Notre Dame of Maryland University were admitted for fall 2018

At Notre Dame of Maryland University, 56 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 96 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore enrolled 2,371 students in fall 2018, including 836 in undergraduate and 1,535 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maryland, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (39 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).

The school admitted 88 percent of the 1,310 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
