78 percent of applicants to the University of Baltimore were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Baltimore, 50 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Baltimore enrolled 5,041 students in fall 2018, including 2,569 in undergraduate and 2,472 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maryland, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (46 percent) and white (32 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 324 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
