The University of Maryland, Baltimore enrolls 909 undergrads

At the University of Maryland, Baltimore, 52 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 87 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Baltimore enrolled 6,777 students in fall 2018, including 909 in undergraduate and 5,868 in graduate programs, data shows. 26.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (47 percent) and Black or African American (19 percent).
