Cost of college went up for all students at Notre Dame of Maryland University

Tuition and fees rose 2.3 percent for 2018-19 at Notre Dame of Maryland University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Maryland students paid $36,900 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $830 more than the $36,070 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 148 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.2 million and 103 students took out student loans totaling more than $720,480.

Including all undergraduates (2,371), 581 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12 million, and 467 students took out $3.3 million in federal student loans.
