Baltimore City Community College issued the following announcement on Mar. 26.
Angela studied social work because she liked the opportunities for growth in education, but she didn't want to be a teacher. Social work was the perfect fit!
Angela has held social work positions as a school-based therapist at Chinquapin Middle School for nine years and worked in group therapy for adolescent boys living in a group home for 11 years. Her degrees have helped her at BCCC by allowing her to coordinate the counseling center. She loves that she gets to do individual therapy, present on mental health topics, consult with professors, organize events, and clinically supervise other social workers. Her degree helps her understand human behavior and ways to continue improving herself and the people around her.
Angela loves to travel and has been to 41 states and over 25 countries, with an eye to visiting all 50 states by her 50th birthday!
