Weekend Closure of Ramp from Southbound I-95 to Southbound MD 295

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that the ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 will temporarily close this weekend for ongoing work related to the Maryland Transportation Authority’s deck rehabilitation and joint modifications project on eight bridges along I-95 in Baltimore City.

This weekend, the ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 (Exit 52) will be temporarily closed to through traffic starting at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 with detours in effect. In addition, the ramp from Hanover Street to southbound I-95 will also close during this time with detours in effect.

Suggested Detours:

The detour for closure of the ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 will direct motorists to I-695 (Exit 49A), to southbound MD 295 (Exit 7A). This detour can be followed for access to Westport and MD 648. Drivers leaving Saturday's Ravens Stadium practice should exit to Russell Street for access to southbound MD 295.

The detour for closure of the ramp from Hanover Street to southbound I-95 will direct motorists to turn right onto E. McComas Street, then to the E. McComas Street on-ramp to southbound I-95.
