Census Bureau: 79.5% of people in Baltimore City were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 592,211 citizens living in Baltimore City in 2021, 79.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 470,655 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 217,055 were male, constituting 46.1%, and 253,600 were female, making up 53.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Baltimore City during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.7%.
