ENOCH PRATT FREE LIBRARY: Ready Player One

Book coffee

Enoch Pratt Free Library issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.

“Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is a book that enthralled me the first time I read it. It is filled with a number of pop culture references and fast paced action that captivated me and made me reminisce about my childhood. The book explores a post-apocalyptic world where everything is done online--from jobs to dating. When the creator of the Oasis dies, a young man takes it upon himself to solve the clues and save the integrity of the Oasis for future generations. Ready Player One is a story full of drama, excitement, friendship, and emphasizes that anything is possible.” - Justin Switzer, Orleans Street Branch manager

Join us on Thursday, September 6, 2018 starting at 5:30 pm at the Orleans Street Branch of Enoch Pratt Free Library for a free screening of the movie adaption of Ready Player One, and get a taste of the branch before #takeovertuesday on September 11. Event info: http://ow.ly/5EXP30lCJHH
