MARYLAND SCIENCE CENTER: 12 Days of Science to be held December 26

Maryland Science Center issued the following announcement.

There’s always something new happening during the 12 Days of Science! Visit MSC for all kinds of arctic activities, with a new theme happening each day from December 21 to January 1.

Daily themes:

December 21: Solstice Science – Jam-pack the shortest day of the year with seasonal science.

December 22: Deck the Halls – It’s the most wonderful time of the year to discover new skills and make something great!

December 23: Polar Party – Bundle up for frozen fun and chilly demonstrations.

December 24: Sounds of the Season – Do you hear what I hear? Explore our favorite seasonal sounds.(Open 10:00am-3:00pm)

December 25: CHRISTMAS – We’re closed–but the science doesn’t stop here! Try an at-home experiment from our catalog of activities: https://www.mdsci.org/learn/resources/science-at-home/

December 26: Building in a Winter Wonderland – Engineer your way through a wonderland of design and building challenges.

December 27: Snowed In – See if you have what it takes to science your way through a snowy day.

December 28: Summer in December – Melt away your winter woes and get ready for some flip-flopping fun.

December 29: Wild Winter – From your backyard to the arctic, experience everything a wild winter has to offer.

December 30: Winter Games – Welcome to the tundra, we’ve got fun and games.

December 31: MIDNIGHT NOON – Enjoy the ball drop before bed time! Join us for our annual New Year’s Eve celebration, Midnight Noon. (Open 9:00am-5:00pm)

January 1: Festive Fizz – Celebrate the new year with fizz, foam, and fun.

All Activities are free with paid museum admission.
