ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY: Crofton, Odenton, and Gambrills Area Utility Bills

Billunpaid

Anne Arundel County issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

The Department of Public Works continues to investigate all inquiries from customers concerning high utility bills in the Crofton, Odenton, and Gambrills areas. Please note that our initial findings indicate that meters have not been misread. It is also important to note that, based on the record rainfall in the summer months of 2018 and the drought conditions for the same 2019 billing quarter in question, higher than normal water usage and higher bills can be expected.

Courtesy re-reads of utility meters will continue to be offered. However, please only request this offer if you have a significant increase in your water bill. Courtesy re-reads will not be considered for minimal increases in consumption.
