Kweisi Mfume, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 7th district, shared several messages on social media platform X regarding significant events and his activities. Previously succeeding Elijah Cummings in 2020, Mfume has been an active voice in various community and national issues.

On March 30, 2025, Kweisi Mfume extended his warm greetings to families celebrating the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr. He wrote: "#EidMubarak to all families celebrating Eid al-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the fast of Ramadan. Addressing the potential privatization of the postal service, he declared his position by posting: "I was fired up joining the National Association of Letter Carriers Local 176 – Oriole Branch in a rally at the Baltimore Main Post Office to oppose privatization of the postal service.
